To all women out there: you are beautiful, you are strong, and you are powerful.
I always have been an individual who didn’t need to rely on someone to achieve my goals. I always believed that I could rely on myself, that by believing in myself I could stand up to anything. There is nothing wrong with being an independent woman and you shouldn’t be scared to be one. We, as human beings, are determined to make a difference on this earth to leave our mark in the future once we pass.
“Oh, it's just me, myself and I Solo ride until I die Cause I got me for life (Got me for life, yeah) Oh I don't need a hand to hold Even when the night is cold I got that fire in my soul”
- Me, Myself & I / Bebe Rexha, G-Eazy
Some of my inspiration comes from Superwoman aka Lily Singh, Ellen Degeneres, Michelle Obama, Emma Stone, Jennifer Laurence, and much more. These women are not afraid to show the world what they are made of. They do not fear of being themselves around a world trying to fit in.
“I can’t think of any better representation of beauty
than someone who is unafraid to be herself”
-Emma Stone
We, as strong independent women, don’t crumble under the negativity of people. We are never afraid of learning new things to empower ourselves more. We don’t let certain people dictate our life; no we’ll just leave you behind. We push ourselves to the limit because we would rather know what happens then the “what if” and wonder.
As a strong independent woman, I do not rely on a man to buy me stuff. I am proud of saying that I own my own truck, sled, 4 wheeler, and apartment, yes sometimes it might be hard and lonely but I wouldn’t see it any other way. I am so proud of all my accomplishments. One day I will be happy with that one man but for now, I am not looking for the one I can rely on but the one I can call an equal partner.
One thing I have no time for is all the bullsh*t that surrounds me. Trust me when I say that I won’t waste my time with games/drama anymore. As a strong woman, I focus my energy on positivity and love. This has played a huge role in becoming who I am today. I always put my life on hold when it came to people in need, I would always be there lessening and giving advice. One day I realize that I wasn’t receiving the same love and decided it was time to think about myself for once and said I wouldn’t put my goals aside any longer.
Even if I am a strong independent woman, I am still just me. On occasions, my anxiety will get the better of me and it will feel like the world is moving on without me. Letting that fear win is not an option and therefore I push myself out of bed and force my way back to the top.
