During my childhood, I knew I couldn't wait to leave the small town I was raised in. I thought there was so much more to life than what I was looking at. The year grew and it was finally time for me to leave for college and I must say I couldn't wait to start my new adventure. As my 4 years of college passed by, I realized that my little town that I hated so much as a kid was actually where my heart belonged. That's when I decided to pack my bags and move back home hoping deeply in my heart that it wasn't too late.
In a breeze, I traveled from South to Northern Ontario where I once again live and I couldn't be happier. Yes, I do miss the city once in a while but the truth is nothing beats the welcoming feeling of small towns. Here, you actually know who your neighbors are, but the most wonderful thing is that you could walk over to their house and ask for some milk or eggs.
Up here is where I remembered once again who I was; a creative outgoing smart individual who’s not afraid of trying new things. Sometimes a new start is what you need so don't be afraid to try something new. Simply pack a bag and go. To be honest you’re not getting any younger.
